What is Shadu Mati?  ♻️

Shadu is a type of occurring Earth Clay that is found on the river-banks in Gujarat. It is a self-drying clay that doesn't need to be baked, just dried in the sun. When it is soaked in water, it easily disintegrates and mixes in water. This is one of the major reasons why it is used for making the idols, it makes visarjan very easy and eco-friendly.

My entire family always loved the Ganpati festival but we never brought the murti home. This year my kids really wanted to so we decided to bring bappa home. Instead of buying the PoP murti, we got this eco-friendly kit and my kids made the whole murti themselves. They decorated it and also painted it. Now, they are waiting for the festival to start so that they can show everyone their murti. It was so easy for them to make this because of the video. The person explains it so easily and so well. I hardly had to help them. Great kit! Highly recommend it
